INE 5439 – Embedded Systems:
Specification (requirements, languages, levels and styles of description). Hardware: input and output (sample-hold, A/D and D/A converters, sensors and actuators), processing units (microprocessors, DSPs, ASIPs, and reconfigurable logic) and memories (flash, cache, and scratch pad). Energy efficiency: energy-aware compilers and power management (DVS e DPM). Code compaction. Hardware and software design tools (simulator, behavioral and logic synthesis, code generator and debugger). Systems-on-Chip and hardware-software co-design.
